BARNAS JAZZHUS FEAT. KRESTEN OSGOOD
Barnas Jazzhus is a concert organizer for kids and was established in 2011. It is Norway’s first club scene dedicated to our youngest jazz talents. They work close together with Improbasen, with a particular focus on developing performance concepts for young talents. In 2012 Barnas Jazzhus developed the mini festival Kids in Jazz in collaboration with, among other things, Sapporo Junior Jazz School, Norwegian Jazz Forum, Oslo Jazz Festival and Nasjonal Jazzscene Victoira.
The organization is led by Odd André Elveland
Kresten Osgood will do a small workshop followed by a concert together with Barnas Jazzhus. Barnas Jazzhus is led by Odd André Elveland and is an extremely important institution for kids who want to learn the traits of the jazz tradition. The organization produces concerts on a regular basis where the next generation can gain experience.
LOST GIRLS
Lost Girls, the new project by Norwegian avant-pop artist Jenny Hval and multi-instrumentalist Håvard Volden, conjures sounds and moods displaced from specific moments in time, existing purely in the moment but tantalizingly just outside of one’s reach.
