Velkommen til en konsert med en av de største artistene Oslo har å by på. Sidiki Camara er en av verdens ledende perkusjonister, og regnes som en av skaperne av den moderne bølgen av vestafrikansk Manding-musikk. Han har turnert over hele verden med artister som Bill Frisell, Rokia Traore, Toumani Diabate og Boubacar Traore, samt vært soloperkusjonist for nasjonalballetten i Mali. Siden 2010 har han satt sitt preg på musikkmiljøet i Oslo og blant annet spilt med artister som Bugge Wesseltoft, i kultbandet Sex Judas, og i Sidiki Camara Group sammen med Bendik Hofseth, Jacob Young og Audun Erlien. Sammen med Sidiki Camara Group, ga han i 2020 ut albumet «Yafa».

Welcome to a concert with one of the greatest artists Oslo has to offer. Sidiki Camara is one of the world’s leading percussionists and is considered one of the creators of the modern wave of West African Manding music. He has toured all around the world with artists such as Bill Frisell, Rokia Traore, Toumani Diabate, and Boubacar Traore, as well as perforing for the National Ballet in Mali as a solo percussionist. Since 2010, he has left his mark on the music scene in Oslo and played with artists such as Bugge Wesseltoft, the cult band Sex Judas, and the Sidiki Camara Group together with Bendik Hofseth, Jacob Young, and Audun Erlien. The latter released the album «Yafa» in 2020.
