The duo has a background from jazz/improvisation/electronics studies at
the Norwegian Academy of Music, Grieg Academy, and NTNU.
Both are young players in the Norwegian jazz and improv environment and they have toured both home and abroad with various projects,
ect. solo projects, PolygonJunx, Morning Has Occurred.
The Jist focuses on an electro-acoustic expression, and different types of interactions within the sound, aesthetics, and noise.
This duo blows new life into the atomized noise genre, often presented only in secret behind bars!
