Legendarisk pioner og stilskaper
To mestere innen ambient og elektronika står på scenen denne kvelden. Komponist og trompetist Jon Hassell er mannen bak musikkstilen han selv kaller for ”The Fourth World” og har markert seg som en innovativ stilskaper innenfor elektronika, jazz og verdensmusikk. Han har jobbet mye med musikere som Brian Eno og Peter Gabriel, og har vært et stilmessig forbilde for Arve Henriksen og Nils Petter Molvær.
Jan Bang er en pioner innen live-sampling og en ettertraktet produsent og samarbeidspartner. I 2005 grunnla han Punkt-festivalen i Kristiansand som har blitt en av Norges mest anerkjente og nyskapende festivaler.
