Kelly Dickson er født i Nord Irland og oppvokst i Leeds. Hun ble tidlig godt etablert i jazzmiljøet i England og hun debuterte med jazzplaten «Vocal Point» i 2003 som ble spilt inn i New York. Det ble etter hvert utstrakt turnevirksomhet i Storbritannia og Europa, med opptredener på bl.a. på Ronnie Scotts, Jazz Cafe, Hippodrome i London. Høydepunktet var som oppvarmingsband for John Legend på Dubai Jazz Festival. På konserten får vi bl.a. høre: What A Difference A Day Made, Valerie, Georgia On My Mind, The Frim Fram Sauce m.fl.
