Chrome Hill består av Asbjørn Lerheim (barytongitar), nordlendingene Atle Nymo (saksofon) og Roger Arntzen (bass). De har holdt over 150 konserter i Norge, Sverige, Frankrike, Japan, England og Portugal. Hele syv utgivelser har det også blitt, på plateselskapene Clean Feed, Bolage og AIM Records.
Bandet har siden 2015 vært på sju turneer i Japan, hvorav første konsert fant sted på Super Deluxe i Tokyo, som ble kåret til en av de ti beste klubbene i Tokyo av The Guardian i 2012.
Bandet har i tillegg til Michiyo Yagi og Tamaya Honda samarbeidet med den japanske trommeslageren Noritaka Tanaka, gitarist Tetuzi Akiyama og her hjemme med gitarbautaen Knut Reiersrud.
To av Chrome Hills utgivelser har også vært inkludert på årets beste norske plater-lister til Øyafestivalen.
I 2023 ga Asbjørn Lerheim og Roger Arntzen ut live-albumet Chrome Hill Duo meets Dōjō (Live at Aketa No Mise, Tokyo, Japan, January 16, 2020) sammen med Michiyo Yagi og trommeslageren Tamaya Honda.
