“Leaving Altenhain” is the first single from our upcoming debut album—a 12-minute, hard-hitting, excerpt from a freely improvised stretch recorded live at our first rehearsal space in February 2023❤️🔥
This track is all about rediscovering our roots in aggressive and alternative music and embracing them wholeheartedly in a new, improvised context.
“Leaving Altenhain” is more than just a track; it’s a piece of our journey—both personal and musical. Our band name, REICHE, reflects a connection to parts of ourselves that were lost along the way, inspired by Vegard’s german family´s history.
All sounds performed live by Vegard Rishaug (guitar & electronics) and Øyvind Leite (drums). Recorded and mixed by Vegard, mastered by Karl Klaseie at Øra Mastering, and stunning artwork by Solveig Grendahl Vold. Huge thanks to Øra Fonogram for believing in the project and releasing it!
